FAQ's

What can I expect during my first appointment?

We know you’re busy so waiting time is kept to a minimum, and you will appreciate our office staff’s organization and efficiency. During your one-on-one consultation with an experienced physician we will conduct a very thorough examination of your musculoskeletal performance and gait, strength and stability, flexibility, and pain source. We will spend time getting to know you, gathering all details of your injury or chronic condition, and discussing a treatment plan with specific recovery goals.

How soon will my treatment begin?

If it’s appropriate for your condition, treatment can begin immediately. We’ll get to work addressing the tendons, ligaments, and muscles that are often neglected with traditional therapies. We combine the latest physical modalities including FM (the newest and most well-researched manual therapy we have ever used), Active Release Technique®, Graston Technique®, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Cox® Technique spinal decompression, Cross Friction Technique with manipulation and rehabilitation exercises.

Why are we different?

Our proven approach to non-invasive recovery combines chiropractic techniques with soft tissue or manual therapy in the most thorough and sophisticated way. This expertly integrated approach helps patients recover more fully and more effectively, and in most cases without dependence on medication or painful, invasive surgeries. The difference is in our diagnostic approach and in our thorough understanding of the interconnectedness, or kinetic chain, of the human body.

How soon can I get back in the game?

Each person’s recovery path is different, but our advanced care has patients back to their favorite pursuits faster and more safely. We’ll work closely with you, and even your trainer or physical therapist, to integrate the best exercises for strengthening to achieve optimal results!

Do you only treat athletes?

Absolutely not! Our number one goal is to help our patients stay active. Whatever your recreational or professional pursuits may be we’ll help you enjoy pain-free participation – with the same level of care and dedication that we provide to the professional athletes we treat.

How are payment and insurance handled?

Payment is made directly to our office. We gladly accept checks and all major credit cards. If you have health insurance, we will provide you with a computer-generated form that is properly coded with procedures and diagnosis for you to submit to your carrier for reimbursement. If your insurance carrier requests additional information to process your claim we will assist you to the best of our ability. Dr. Winnick and his associates are ready to assist you in any way at all times.
