Tension Headaches

Tension headaches are the most common type of headaches. The pain from a tension headache is different from a migrane. It is constant and can spread throughout your neck and upper back causing sore muscles or even dizziness.

The most common causes of tension headaches are:

anxiety stress depression poor posture improper breathing food allergies

Though pain relievers such as aspirin, ibuprofen or acetaminophen can mask the pain from a tension headache, they don’t address headache cause and frequent use can create unwanted side effects.
